Advanced Incident Command System (ICS 400) Training

The course will be held at the Aroostook County Emergency Management Agency, 158 Sweden Street, Caribou. Classes will be conducted from 8am-4:30pm. Lunch will be provided.

The Aroostook County Emergency Management Agency will be conducting an incident command system course for command/management personnel. This 1-day course is designed for a multidiscipline audience of persons who would serve as command in an ICS structure. The course includes group activities, a tabletop exercise, and a final exam.

  • SELECTION CRITERIA: The target audience for this course is senior personnel who are expected to perform in a management capacity in an area command or multiagency coordination entity.
  • REQUIRED PREREQUISITES: Successful completion and understanding of IS700/IS100/IS200/IS800/ICS300 introductory NIMS and basic and intermediate incident command training is a requirement for attendance.
  • NEEDED MATERIALS: Laptop or tablet is needed for this course.
