End Of Year Reporting

MEDMS Staff Data

The MEDMS Staff Information System is shut down at the end of June or early July so the Department can prepare for the following school year. Updates of staff data for the current reporting year must be made by school units before MEDMS is shut down. Please check the Commissioner's Weekly Updates for the specific shut down date.

Please Note: School unit staff who completed the current school year but who are NOT returning for the following year shoult NOT be terminated in the MEDMS Staff Information System until after the system is brought back online. This is to ensure staff are properly listed as finishing the current school year in the Certification System.
