Mission Statement

 

The Mission of the State Board is to provide policy leadership that promotes a Maine public school system whose graduates will meet current and future learning standards, and to make recommendations to the Executive and Legislative Branches of Government.

 

Vision Statement

The Vision of the State Board is to prepare Maine public school graduates with the skills and knowledge needed, to be college, career, and citizenship ready.
