LEA Profile Data
The Department is required under IDEA to report annually to the public on each of Maine’s Local Educational Agency (LEA) performance in meeting targets set by the State Performance Plan (SPP). The requirement for public reporting on LEA performance is a critical provision in ensuring accountability and focusing on improved results for children with disabilities. The Department developed reports on a combination of performance and compliance indicators that are presented as profiles by LEA.
