Consumer InformationIntervening in a CaseAnyone who wishes to be an official party to a case in order to file testimony, may "intervene" in the case. There are two kinds of intervention. Persons or groups who may be substantially and directly affected by the proceeding are granted mandatory intervention, as are any government agency, upon the filing of a timely petition to intervene according to state guidelines. Discretionary intervention may be allowed for any other interested person or group at the discretion of the Commission.
