Program Synopsis

The morning session will include a presentation on ethical issues for government attorneys. It will also highlight significant decisions of the United States Supreme Court. The afternoon program will cover significant civil and criminal decisions of the Maine Law Court and the First Circuit Court of Appeals.

CLE Credit Hours: 6.0 (including 1 hour of ethics)

Registration Procedure

Attendance at this program is limited. In accordance with Office of the Attorney General policy, employees of the Office and other government attorneys who wish to attend the program have priority for registration. Employees of the Office of the Attorney General and other government attorneys should e-mail their name, name of employer, and bar number, to Arlene Harrison at arlene.harrison@maine.gov.

Registrations will be processed as received with a waiting list for registrations that exceed the attendance limitation for this program. After July 8th, if space is available, registration will be opened to members of the bar who are not government attorneys.

Because space is limited, if you register and later find that you cannot attend, please immediately notify Arlene Harrison by e-mail so that someone on the waiting list can attend in your place.
