Place a Classified Ad

Advertising Guidelines

  1. Agriculture Today subscribers may submit a maximum of two classified advertisements per issue.
  2. The Department may decline to accept classified advertisements from commercial businesses.
  3. Ads may be submitted electronically using the form below. Classified ads may be submitted at any time and, if accepted, will be placed in the next published newsletter. You may place an ad by mail to Agriculture TODAY, Maine Department of Agriculture, 28 State House Station, Augusta, ME 04333-0028.
  4. Each ad will be published in two consecutive issues. Subscribers may submit an ad for two additional weeks.
  5. Subscribers may cancel an ad by using the contact information in Item 3 above. 
  6. The maximum length of an ad is 50 words. We reserve the right to edit all ads for format and space requirements.
  7. The Department reserves the right to refuse any ad deemed to be inappropriate for this publication.
  8. All ads must include:
    • Ad Category (chosen from drop-down list)
    • Brief description of the item or service offered or desired.
    • Price (if for sale)
    • Your name, town, telephone number or e-mail address. If you are using your telephone as your primary means of contact, it is often helpful to state a time of day when you may be expected to be reached at the listed number.
