Maine Pesticide Notification Registry for Aerial or Air-Carrier Pesticide Applications

This registry is required by LD 1293, An Act To Require Citizen Notification of Pesticide Applications Using Aerial Spray or Air-carrier Application Equipment, passed by the Maine State Legislature and signed by Governor Baldacci on June 12, 2009. LD 1293 became effective on September 12, 2009.

Any resident, owner, or lessee of property in Maine is entitled to be placed on this registry, free of charge. Names will remain on the registry until the Board of Pesticides Control is notified in writing to remove a specific listing, or until the Board determines a contact is no longer valid.

To be placed on the 2010 registry, names must be submitted by March 15, 2010. The completed registry will be posted on this website no later than April 1, 2010; it will only be accessible with a username and password supplied by the Board.

If a paper application is preferred to this online form, please contact the Board at pesticides@maine.gov or 207-287-2731.
