According to the Chapter 27 Pesticide Regulation, schools must notify all staff and parents or guardians of students telling them that a school IPM policy exists and where they may view it.

Schools must choose one of two notification methods to alert parents and staff of upcoming pesticide applications, either universal or registry method. Choose one:

Send to all staff and parents before every pesticide application.

Staff and parents have the option to sign up for notification of pesticide applications. Only registry recipients receive notifications.

Print the Application Notification with the appropriate information to notify parents and staff.

View the Chapter 27 Standards for requirements for indoor and outdoor signs.
