Daily/Weekly Rentals

CFM has a daily rental line of vehicles available for authorized employees traveling on official State business. The vehicles are on a first come, first serve basis.

The basic information required to rent a vehicle is:

  • Date and time of pickup
  • Date and time of return
  • Destination
  • Type of vehicle required
  • State house station number
  • Account number (fund, agency, org, appr)
  • Number of people traveling

All vehicles are picked up at the CFM office, located in the BGS/CFM Service Building on Columbia Street in Augusta , behind the DHHS building on State Street . Vehicles are to be returned to the same location. CFM has a 24 hour key drop for after hours and weekend returns. Each vehicle is cleaned, fueled and checked completely before each rental. Drivers are not required to refuel vehicles before they return.

New Rental Rates

Effective August 2, 2010

Central Fleet Management rental rates will change effective 8/2/2010 .

Below are the new rates for all standard CFM rental vehicles. Note: Leased (permanently assigned/seasonal) vehicles are not affected by this change.

All rental vehicles returned after 7/30/2010 will be charged the new rates.

The customer is charged the mileage rate or the daily minimum, whichever is greater, not both.
