HUMAN RESOURCES MEMORANDUM 9-97

TO:	Agency Heads, Directors of Administrative Services, Agency Personnel Managers
SUBJECT:	Corrected Pages from Salary Schedules for 1997 and 1998 Executive Branch

Attached are corrected pages from salary schedules published for 1997 and 1998 for the Executive Branch. The corrections are required because of errors as follows:

Schedule 2 for 1997 and Schedule 2 for 1998 had errors in Grade 1, Step 2 and Grade 8, Step 2. The decimal point in the hourly rate was misplaced and the error was carried through the other salary amounts for that grade and step.
Schedule 7 for 1997, Grade 16, Step 1 appears as all zero's. This rate was incorrectly left off when calculations were made.

Please replace the appropriate pages in any salary schedules that you have with the corrected pages. Electronic salary schedules have already been corrected. This has not resulted, and will not result in errors to employee pay.
