BroadbandMatch, 1/7/2010
NTIA and RUS announced the launch of "BroadbandMatch," an online tool sponsored by the agencies and funded by stimulus dollars for potential BTOP and BIP applicants to find partners for broadband projects. Interested parties can upload a profile, including key information about the contribution they can make to a broadband project, into the searchable database to find other stakeholders whose resources and expertise match their goals, with whom they can collaborate on project proposals. ConnectME Authority Broadband Mapping Project
On July 24, 2009, the Authority awarded the Broadband Mapping and Inventory Project bid to the James W. Sewall Company, based in Old Town, Maine.
The Authority submitted an application to the NTIA for a grant from the State Broadband Data and Development Program on August 13, 2009. Project Abstract and Program Narrative submitted with the application.
