Hosting a Lake Day

Interested lake associations and school districts are encouraged to collaborate and submit a written proposal to Christine Smith by email mailto:denise.l.blanchette@maine.gov
or by regular mail at:

Be sure to include the following information in your proposal:

1. Name of the lake and a location for the event.
2. Names and phone numbers or email addresses for the team of school teachers if working with a school.
3. Name and phone number or email address of contact person in a lake association or other watershed group.
4. A list of other community members or organizations willing to provide resources and/or participate in the event.
5. A brief description of your vision of a Family Lake Day.
