   Citrix
   Program Neighborhood

MEDEP uses a software called Citrix to provide GIS to MEDEP users.  In order for you to use GIS, you must have:
  1. Citrix client software installed on your computer
  2. Connectivity to the State of Maine WAN
  3. Your user accounts set up to access GIS
Why does MEDEP use Citrix?

Contact the Help Desk to get these set up.

Connecting to Citrix and Starting ArcMap

Once you are all set up, you will see one of these icons on your desktop:  citrix program neighborhood  or citrix icon

Double-click it to bring up the Citrix Program Neighborhood, you should see the ArcGIS (and perhaps other) icons in the DEP-FARM.  If not, follow these instructions to connect to the server.
