Citrix
Program Neighborhood
MEDEP uses a software
called Citrix to
provide GIS to
MEDEP users. In order for you to use GIS, you must have:
- Citrix
client software installed on your computer
- Connectivity to the State of Maine
WAN
- Your user accounts set up to access
GIS

Connecting to Citrix and
Starting ArcMap
Once you are all set up, you will see one of these icons on your
desktop:

Double-click it to bring up the Citrix Program Neighborhood, you should
see the ArcGIS (and perhaps other) icons in the DEP-FARM. If not,
follow
these instructions to connect to the server.
Double-click "ArcMap" to start it. It will ask you to log in, use
your SOM username and password, domain is SOM:
When it starts, it will run
just like any other Windows application.
