Creating/Printing Maps - Printing

Concepts:
   printing

A
t last!  Your map is all set up the way you want it, you're ready to print.  This is the easy part.  Just click on either the 'Print' tool print button or go to the 'File' menu and choose 'Print'.  You will see this dialog (which you are probably very familiar with from other Windows programs):
print dialog

For the most part, just leave everything alone and click 'OK' to print.  It is best NOT to change the 'Printer Engine' or 'Output Image Quality' unless you are an advanced user and know what you are doing.  You can create multiple copies if you wish.

Note that if you print in the data view, you will get a printout of only the data view, based on the screen size.  You need to be in the layout view to actually print out the complete map.
