2011 Multi-Sector General Permit (industrial activities)
Training:
The Industrial Stormwater Program is seeking interested individuals, owners, operators and municipal employees for participation in a training session tailored to the needs of the construction and landscaping industry as well as activities impacting municipal town garages. The training is free and will be held in the Ellsworth area sometime during winter 2012. For more information please contact Jana Wood at 207-215-7869.
Introduction
The Multisector General Permit provides basic stormwater standards for industrial activities. DEP began implementing these requirements following delegation of the federal NPDES program to the State of Maine.
