Description of Services:

• Employment Services is a community based program providing vocational services to students and adults with disabilities. Employment Services works with local schools, state and federal agencies to ensure a smooth transition into community employment. Employment Services are primarily covered by Vocational Rehabilitation Services, MaineCare and private pay. Services available may include: Job Development, Job Placement, Community Based Situational Assessments (CBSA), Supported Employment, Job Coaching, Long Term Support/Monitoring, School to work transition, Job Exploration and Interview Readiness.
• Our Direct Support Professionals (DSP) assist individuals with developmental disabilities to lead a self-directed life and to contribute to the community, assist with activities of daily living if needed, and encourage attitudes and behaviors that enhance community inclusion. Our Direct Support Professionals may provide supports to a person with a disability at home, work, school, church, and other community places. Our Direct Support Professionals act as advocates for the disabled individual, in communicating their needs, self expression and goals.
