Description of Services: Living Innovations provides supports throughout the State of Maine to adults and children who are diagnosed with a developmental disability. From our Bangor, Newport and Machias sites, we offer the following services in both regions 2 and 3:

• Community Support (Kennebec, Penobscot, Piscataquis, Washington)
• Home Support (Kennebec, Penobscot, Piscataquis, Hancock, Waldo, Knox, Washington)

Our case managers work with the consumer, their family and other support team members to identify and coordinate services through the development of a person centered plan.  Our goal is to assist and encourage each person to be an active member of the community in which they live. 

Community Support is community based and staff  work with the consumer on identified skills and enable the consumer to access their community either alone or with their peers;

Home Support: Living Innovations specializes in Shared Living, wherein we identify a family environment that is a good match for the consumer. The individual, couple or family provides a caring and supportive home environment and is responsible for the support needs of the client 24/7;

We also offer less than 24/7 staff support to folks who live on their own or with family. Staff assist the client either in their home or in their community, depending on their needs.

We also offer children’s in home behavioral support services (Section 24 (FSD)).
