About the organization: Mobius, Inc., a private not-for-profit agency, has been providing services to persons with developmental disabilities in the central Maine coastal area since 1978. The philosophy of Mobius, `Valued Roles in the Community,' drives all service delivery, and uses highly individualized service planning to identify meaningful goals to enhance the independence of individuals served. Agency services are nationally accredited (CARF), and residential facilities are licensed by the State of Maine. Adult service offerings include: day habilitation; 24-hour supervised residential; supported independent living, supported employment and case management. The agency also provides specific services for youth, including: community support; case management and supported employment.

About adult Community Case Management services (CCM): Building on over two years experience providing case management services to youth with developmental disabilities, Mobius has been certified as an approved provider of case management services for adults with developmental disabilities in 2003. Mobius CCM services benefit from a well-established plan development approach that has been recognized for realizing individual growth and participation local communities. Referrals for CCM services can be made to the contact person identified above.

The CCM catchments area includes Lincoln, Sagadahoc and Knox Counties. Referrals for individuals residing outside that area will be considered on as case-by-case basis.
