Description of Services:
Started by parents and concerned community members who wanted to create more opportunities for children with disabilities, UCP of Maine was incorporated in 1954.  Since that time UCP of Maine has developed from a volunteer organization to a non profit full service organization serving children and adults with disabilities and their families.

Current Programs include:

• Children’s Behavioral Health and Day Habilitation
  Ft. James House for Children
• Early Childhood Education
  • Bangor Bridges Preschool
  • Peace Pals Child Care and Day Treatment for Preschool Children
• Parent Support Groups
• Camp Capella Recreational Facility
• Physical Therapy and Occupational therapy for Children and Adults
  Respite
• Out Patient Therapy for Adults and Children
• Adult Residences
