EIS Entering, Updating, Changing Medications
To Enter Medication Listing:
- Anchor person
- Show menu; People. Critical Information
- Add
- Type: Choose Medical – Medication
- Enter Start Date
- Type in current medications under “Description”
- Click OK.
If There is a Change in Medication(s):
- Anchor person
- Show menu; People. Critical Information.
- Click on Medical – Medication (Current listing)
- Highlight Medications
- Place arrow on highlighted information
- Right Click Mouse
- Click on Copy
- Put an End Date (Date that listing of med's changed)
- Click on OK
- Click ADD
- Medical – Medication
- Start Date
- Click in Description Box
- Right Click; Click on Paste
- Delete discontinued med's and/or add new med's.
If There Are No Changes in Medications:
- Anchor person
- Show menu; People. Critical Information
- Click on Medical – Medication
- At the end of the description of med's, put parentheses with Review date (i.e. Reviewed 01/01/01)
