Scenario: In this part of the lesson, you will be documenting Laurie's private guardian to make sure they are listed in EIS. NOTE: This is also the step where you would add the Quality Improvement Specialist (not practiced in this lesson, but uses the same steps).

Step: Click SAVE button Hyperlink User Prompt: Officially 'open' the step.

Step: Click SCROLL down bar "Hot Area" User Prompt: Go further down the page.

Step: Click ADD button in the People Relationship/Association section Hyperlink User Prompt: Add the guardian relationship.

Step: Click NEXT button "Hot Area" User Prompt: A guardian is an individual relationship.

Step 1: Select Related People from the PEOPLE TYPE drop-down list. Step 2: Click GO button "Hot Area" User Prompt: You want to select a related person as the guardian..

Step 1: Select MOUSE, AMH (ID: 150771, City: , Ph: ) from the list of people list box. Step 2: Click NEXT button Hyperlink User Prompt: Laurie's guardian is AMH Mouse.

Step 1: Select GUARDIAN, FULL (PRIVATE) from the RELATIONSHIP TYPE drop-down list. Step 2: Type 06/01/2005 in the START DATE field. Step 3: Click FINISH button Hyperlink User Prompt: AMH is a GUARDIAN, FULL (PRIVATE) designation as of 06/01/2005 (the referral date).

Step 1: Type 06/01/2005 in the [field name] field. Step 2: Type 04:00 in the [field name] field. Step 3: Select PM from the AM drop-down list. Step 4: Click SAVE button Hyperlink User Prompt: Document that the step is now complete (with a date of 06/01/2005 (today's date) and a time of 04:00 PM).

Step 1: Select 4. CREATE CLIENT TRACKING from the PROCESS STEP drop-down list. Step 2: Click GO button Hyperlink User Prompt: Continue to the next step (Step #4).
