General Assistance
General Assistance Work Group
Public Law 655, part R (pdf*) mandates that DHHS form a work group designed to study potential restructuring of the state’s General Assistance program.
Its duties, among other things, include examining the current structure and recommending methods and standards to improve accountability, cost- effectiveness and uniformity.
This site will provide meeting schedules, minutes, agendas and additional information that may be helpful to the public and the work group members.
