Mandated Reporter Training for Suspected Child Abuse and NeglectPurpose:To familiarize participants with their legal mandate for reporting suspected child abuse and neglect as well as providing information to increase their recognition and response to child abuse and neglect. Objectives:
Confidentiality:Clearly, abuse of any type is a very sensitive issue; therefore any materials, cases, or situations used throughout this training will be de-identified to maintain confidentiality. How to use this site:Navigate through each session by clicking on the back or forward arrow on each page. If you want to see a complete list of the units within each session, simply click the session listed on the menu at left. There are several activities that suggest you print the page to keep and/or refer to your responses. If you find that you need more room or you do not currently have access to a printer, feel free to use paper for these activities.
