After several phone calls from providers who explained how a person could
become a CRMA without being an RCS 1 or PSS previously, I have decided to
strike that part of Question 5 which deals with this issue, realizing that
some employees who work fewer than 20 hours a week would not come under the
PSS training piece.
Also:
I am looking for about 5 instructors who would be interested in meeting with
me to correct some of the issues in the CRMA curriculum . I am looking for
those persons who will have a positive attitude about the issues and not a
negative, your all wrong attitude. You must remember that 6 Registered
Nurses had input into this. Those interested send me an e mail and I will
choose 5 from those who wish to help me.
Also, I want to ask instructors for an honest opinion. I want you to think
about the in-class clinicals along with all the teaching that goes into the
40 hours of classroom material. I would like to get a sense from
instructors about teaching 10 students (and teaching them well). Is the
maximum number as set now comfortable to you Registered Nurses, or do you
all think that raising the maximum to say 12, or 15 still adequate for this
new curriculum.
I have been asked to review the current max student allowance and get a
sense of raising the max.
Thank you
