Subject: beas-crma SC Injection

Hello all,

I wanted to follow-up with you in regards to my question posed a few weeks
ago regarding administration of Lovenox sc.

The issue has been resolved. After careful review of all the regulations,
the State Board position and feedback from colleagues, I felt it was not in
the consumer's, mine or the agency's best interest to teach staff to perform
this procedure. So, I will not be teaching the staff to administer this
injection. The Executive director agreed and has received authorization from
Maine Care to continue with Home health. :)

Thanks again for your feedback and support,

Linda Reed, RN
