If a 24 hour student enters your recert class, ask them if they want to
Bridge or Recert as this is their option. If they choose to Bridge and
pass the Recert they must do passes in a clinical setting as determined
by the number required on the bottom of their 24 hour certificate.
Remember the most they need to do is 3 passes. If they choose to Recert
they get a 24 hour recert and no futher passes are need but the one in
class pass/fail demonstration of a clinical medication pass and all the
requirements for that one pass as noted on the medication pass skills
sheet. Please be sure that your validation reflects Bridge for those
that are Bridging and a different validation for those that are
Recerting. Call me or Denise Gardiner at 287-9330, if this is not clear.
