I wholeheartedly agree that we have always provided our staff with as much
available information as possible for their ongoing learning and resources.
We have always tried to reward those who take the initiative to keep
learning and to come to class as prepared as possible.
With the exception of tests and answers, and perhaps page 11 "Instructions
for Documentation Exercise", I am not seeing why withholding the curriculum
(mostly all information that they have seen in a different format) would put
anyone at a disadvantage. I have always seen this 8-hour course to be a
"refresher", and handing out the curriculum ahead of time only gives them an
opportunity to revisit those areas that perhaps they have not used as much,
or if there are new areas to note, some time to process it in advance.

Is it not our teaching philosophy to provide all available information to
those being certified and/or re-certified?

Morning folks
There have been several inquiries as to whether or not to give students a
copy of the curriculum. My advice is to not give it out. The reason behind
this is that since its 70% competency based, you would want CRMAs to come
into the day and prove that they actually know the information. An unfair
advantage would be gained by some if they had the information before hand.

It was designed to teach from the instructor's copy. You could give out any
of the Appendices as references. Thanks
