Why are we even dealing with grains???
Labels all have mg or mcg, and the whole world uses the metric system
for these drugs. (go read your nitro labels)
Same question about drams; when have you ever seen them used?????
And when was the last time you measured out an ml by drops??
Items like this are "junk" information with no practical application.
They get in the way of important information students need to be safe
and accurate.

You are correct. 64.8 mg. to the gr. However, for practical purposes,
the literature tells you to use 60 or 65 mg for calculation purposes and
ease of the calculations.

There are a few other problems with the exams for the re-certification.
1. On exam 3, the answer key is incorrect starting with #14.
2. On all of the exams, the measurement conversion question asks what
60 or 65 grains equal. The test gives the answer as
"1 mgm" however, 1 gr = 64.8mg. I will be changing this on my exams.
Thank you
