We have been receiving class packets without having received any
notification form prior to the class being held. Please send in a
notification form of your planned classes.
Also, when students take a recert class be sure to get a copy of the
student's current certificate prior to class starting and forward with the
packet when class is done.
When we started doing Bridge classes and 24 hour classes students with
expired certs and students without any medication knowledge slipped into
classes and attempted to get certified without taking the 40 hour class
declaring they were already CRMA's getting recertified.
I have been receiving calls reporting CRMA's for drug diversion, resident
rights violation etc. We do not have a registry yet only a database. You may
make out an incident report from your facility as a mandated reporter and
fax to 287-9252 at our office and file a complaint at 287-9308 if you have
concerns about a facility.
