Very interesting how ego bruising seems to be at epidemic proportions----I
never said we should "spoon feed any CRMA"--- if we want !00% of anything on
the first try---then the materials should have been 100% on the first handout to
all of us----Exam #1 was found to have only 82 questions in it(one of my
former instructors was told that "Donnie will fix it"), Exam #2 has a place to
answer the 3 systems of measurement and gives 4 spaces for it---and we expect
them to be 100%--- I have been in this profession alot longer than you have
Donnie, am the 16 th nurse in the family and have never had a discipline against my
license---I value it highly and offer only a quality education---not a day of
scare tactics--- if someone told you that you were going to work in the
Maternity dept. of the hospital tonight, I am sure that you would want to have a
refresher course---although taught it in your original curriculum, I am sure
that you have not retained all of the information, just as some of the CRMA's do
not, depending on where they are working. As for not calling you
"Donnie"---that is the only name that I have ever heard anyone use for you---just what
would the consequences be if people continue to call you that? Such trivia! I
will try one more time to get the answers I am seeking from Peter----the
committee I am referring to is the one that was to be formed by Peter, and we were all
told to let him know if we were interested, and that he would be hand picking
them. Too bad that this list serve has turned in to this---but it is about
time that the people receiving salaries from our hard earned taxes are made
accountable. The people of this state want some answers and we deserve them--your
feedback was interesting from the pilot program--it isn't quite what I heard
them talking about, but that is OK---I take in information from all sides.
