Maine Office of Substance

The Maine Office of Substance Abuse is the single state administrative
authority responsible for the planning, development, implementation,
regulation and evaluation of substance abuse services.
Information
and Resource Center
The Information and Resource Center (IRC) houses a collection
of books, videos, audiocassettes, and literature which
are searchable online. Library materials are available
on loan, and pamphlets and handouts are distributed free
statewide. Staff will assist with searches for information.
MaineParents.net
MaineParents.net contains resources for parents of teens.
It includes a downloadable version of The Maine Parent's
Kit - a free guide that offers practical tips, useful
facts, and valuable statewide resources to help Maine
parents monitor and prevent alcohol use by their teens.
