National Inhalants & Poisons Awareness Week (always the 3rd week in March) was created by the National Inhalants Prevention Council to increase awareness and understanding about the use and serious risks of inhalant involvement. The NIPAW campaign seeks to involve youth, schools, media, police departments, health organizations, civics groups and others to reduce inhalant use. Want to get involved? The campaign can be conducted anytime and anywhere there is a need for inhalant awareness education. Call 1-800-269-4237 to add your organization to the list of NIPAW Partners and receive a Local Coordinator’s Kit. For more information, visit the website at: http://www.inhalants.org/nipaw.htm
