The Communications Office provides leadership of the coordination and distribution of all internal and external communications for all Department of Health and Human Services programs. Responsible for managing state and federally funded long term care services for elders and adults with disabilities. This includes overseeing the statewide uniform assessment process for determining level of care needs for nursing home placements and for in home services. In addition, OES oversees the statewide home care coordination agency that works with individuals receiving home care.
