This 3-hour course will cover basic information on hepatitis A, B, and C. Topics will include:
- Hepatitis and the liver
- Epidemiology in the U.S. and Maine
- Routes of transmission
- Risk groups
- Diagnosis
- Treatment
- Prevention
- Resources
The session will be largely didactic, though participants will be encouraged to ask questions. Participants will have a chance to test their knowledge gained through a pre-/post-testing and interactive game at the end.
