Seaweed Industry members:

Please be aware that LD 345 has been signed by the Governor and is now law. Our Licensing Division is crafting an application for the new Seaweed Buyers License and will be available very soon.

Parties wishing to harvest rockweed in Cobscook this year will need to submit a harvesting plan to the Department by 5PM Friday, June 12th in order to be eligible.

Should more than one entity wish to harvest in Cobscook this year they will need to meet prior to submitting their plan(s) in order to allocate sectors.

Any harvesting plan that is submitted will be posted on our website as soon as we get a link up and running.
