Maine Pre-Season Shrimp Sampling, December 2011

Two Maine shrimp trawlers made some sample shrimp tows on December 27, 2011, with these requirements: they could fish inside 3-miles if they wish, they carried a DMR observer, made short tows in several areas, did not exceed 2,000 lbs per boat for the week, and provided samples of the shrimp from each tow for analysis by DMR. All information collected is public (on this web page in the table below, or call or email Maggie Hunter). High winds all week prevented two other boats (Portland and Port Clyde) from going.
