Dear Sears Island Steering Committee members and Interested Parties:
We write to provide additional information regarding the first meeting of the Sears Island Planning Initiative Steering Committee that will be held at the First Congregational Church of Searsport on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Attached are directions to the Church.
Please R.S.V.P. to francesca.romanoski@maine.gov if you plan to attend the meeting – especially if you would like a box lunch. We will be providing hot drinks and pastries for when people arrive and will order box lunches for participants but need to know how many to order. We ask that people contribute $5 toward the box lunch to help defray costs.
We are pleased that there has been a positive response and interest in this initial organizational meeting. Note that we have received formal inquiries from a number of organizations who would like to be included in the Steering Committee and representatives plan on being at the May 30th meeting:
