Joseph Young, Maine Floodplain Management Program

Joseph Young joined the Maine Floodplain Management Program in 2008 as the program's mapping coordinator. He works with FEMA and their contractors to coordinate floodplain mapping activities in the state. He works closely with the Maine Geolibrary Board and other mapping partners to encourage partnerships that will reduce costs of more accurate mapping. He has prior experience in municipal government, regional planning, surveying and real estate development.
