In the interpretation "br" represents bedrock, "d" represents deltaic sediment, "gm" represents glacial-marine sediment, and "m" represents modern mud. Note the vertical exaggeration of 9.6 makes all slopes steeper than they are naturally. The lowstand of sea level is thought to have occurred at the depth indicated in the top panel.
