Figure 15. A third seaward-looking view of a channel across the Seawall Beach spit on April 7, 2009. In addition to the seaweed, wood, and other debris that has been cleared from the area of fastest flow, there is evidence in the foreground of downward erosion or channel cutting during the storm.
