MCC Field Team Partners

The Maine Conservation Corps works with federal, state, municipal and non-profit organizations. The MCC Field Team constructs and rehabilitates recreational trails all across Maine.  These trails must be accessible by the public.  The MCC Field Teams are generally composed of 9 trail crews during the summer season and 6 during the fall season.  Our members are volunteers serving in the AmeriCorps National Service program.  Field Teams undertake numerous trail projects such as cutting new trail, stone staircases, bog bridging, boardwalk, timber bridges, stepping stones, water bars, side hill, etc.
