Cancellations

At anytime prior to the arrival date, complete cancellations may be processed on line or through the Call Center office. Cancellations made on the date of arrival may be made through the Call Center office during business hours or by calling the park directly. Partial cancellations and other adjustments must be made through the Call Center office during regular business hours.

All cancellations/partial cancellations are subject to the refund policy. When refunding a reservation made with a credit card, the refund will be credited to the original card used, less all cancellation fees.

No Shows

Campsite reservations will be held for the first night of the reservation period unless cancelled. If the reserving party has not arrived at the park or cancelled the reservation by 1:00 PM on the second day of the reservation, the site will be put back in the inventory and the reservation will be completely canceled. There will be no refunds authorized for NO SHOW reservations.

Refunds

There is no longer a $15.00 fee for all complete cancellations (including the changing parks fee).

NEW CANCELLATION POLICY FOR 2010 – All canceled reservations will be subject to a new processing fee. We will keep the $2 per night reservation fee from each reservation that is canceled or partially canceled. For example: If you cancel a 14-night reservation, the State of Maine will keep a fee of $28 ($2 x 14 nights) and the rest will be credited back to your credit card. You must call the Campground Reservation Call Center or the park before the night of your arrival in order to be eligible for a refund, or you can cancel it online if you originally made it using the website.

There are NO REFUNDS for canceled or partially canceled 4-night Sebago reservations which were made in February. (Campers must keep the 4-night minimum requirement and may receive a refund for more than 4 nights if the reservation is canceled).

There are no refunds for: NO CALLS, NO SHOWS, and EVICTED campers.

There will be no refunds for partial cancellations resulting in a reservation not meeting the minimum length of stay.

Cancellations made after 4:00 PM, eastern local time, on the arrival date, will result in the forfeiture of all camping fees for that night.

No refunds will be authorized when campers request a site change regardless of any cost differentials at the campgrounds.
