Maine Educator Effectiveness Council
The Maine Educator Effectiveness Council was created in law (LD 1858, An Act to Ensure Effective Teaching and School Leadership - PDF) to recommend standards for implementing a system of evaluation and support of teachers and principals.
The Council also serves a second role as one of the working groups for the ESEA flexibility application effort.
View information about the work group on the ESEA flexibility web pages.
