Literacy Visioning

Defining a Vision

This website links to the Indiana State Literacy section on commitment. In this section the idea of literacy visioning is defined and tools are provided to facilitate this process. The visioning tool asks participants to consider the current environment, school or community, and to outline desired practices for the future. These items lead the group toward establishing a common vision focused on improving literacy. Action planning tools are also provided to guide the process.
