Office of Professional Standards
The Office of Professional Standards is responsible for ensuring that all allegations of misconduct and other alleged violations by employees of the State Police are investigated. A lieutenant, sergeant, and a secretary staff the unit.
You may report an incident of misconduct by a member of the Maine State Police by contacting the individuals named above or contacting any of the regional communication centers and requesting to speak to a supervisor.
The Office of Professional Standards would also like to hear from you if you would like to compliment a member of the Maine State Police.
