Maine GED Transcript Requests

The Maine Department of Education maintains a statewide database containing the records of all those who have been awarded a Maine High School Equivalency Diploma.  Any Maine resident (or non-resident who originally tested at a GED Testing Center/Adult Education Program within the state of Maine) may request a copy of their Official GED Transcript through one of the following ways.**

  • Download the GED Information Request Form - Here
  • Telephone the GED Office, Maine Department of Education (207) 624-6752.
  • Mail the following information to the GED Office, Maine Department of Education, 23 State House Station, Augusta, ME 04333: 1) Full Name (as it was on the diploma); 2) Date of Birth; 3) Social Security Number; 4) Address of where to send the document(s); 5) Telephone number where you can be contacted in case of any questions or problems.

**Those who tested through the International GED Testing Program should go to the International Testing page for information on requesting transcripts.
