PURPOSE: The School Facilities Services/Transportation Team recommends all major capital school construction, school renovations, school maintenance programs, and leased school facilities projects to the Commissioner of the Maine Department of Education and/or the State Board of Education. This Team also approves the commitment of State funds for bus purchases and bus note subsidies.
The School Facilities Services Team is sponsoring an email listserve for school facilities personnel. The Department will use this list for providing State facilities updates. School facilities staff can use the list for the exchange of ideas, questions and solutions. Click this link to subscribe to the listserve.
