Fall
Leadership Conference
The HOSA membership meets in October to elect State officers, learn
about competitive events, network with other members, and
participate in individual growth development and career exploration.
Leadership
Training
State officers meet in November to learn Parliamentary Procedure, practice
leadership skills and formulate a plan of action for the current year.
Conference
Planning
State officers meet three times to design the spring conference.
Each officer is responsible for development of one segment of the conference.
State
Leadership
Members from around the state meet in April to compete in a variety
of health care events for bronze, silver and gold
medals in an effort to qualify to compete at the HOSA National Leadership
Conference.
National
Leadership Conference
Maine HOSA members in conjunction with approximately 5,000 members
from other state HOSA organizations meet for competitive events and leadership
and technical academies at the end of June at a major city in the United States.
