Gold Medalist in Drafting at State SkillsUSA Competition
Capital Area Technical Center senior, Josh Lessard, brought home the Gold in Drafting at the SkillsUSA competition held in Bangor in March. He will compete for the national championship in June at the Skills USA competition held in Kansas City, Missouri.
Josh is a senior at Erskine Academy and is completing his second year in the architectural drafting program at CATC.
The Town of Winthrop benefitted from Josh's training this year as he updated their tax maps as a special project. Josh plans to major in architectural drafting at the University of Maine in Augusta this fall.
Josh is the son of Lorraine and Brian Lessard of South China.
